lessons (un)learned

why i rarely post

so i know it's now march first and i haven't posted since february first. sometimes i just don't feel like i have things to say. and then there are times that i have something to say, but by the time i get here to say them, they don't seem so important anymore. honestly, if you all want to quit reading my blog, go ahead. i'll probably keep posting when i want to say something...at least for a season of my life.
with all that out of the way...i wanted to share this quotation:

We grow great by dreams.
All big men are dreamers.
They see things in the soft haze of a spring day
or in the red fire of a long winter's evening.
Some of us let these great dreams die,
but others nourish and protect them,
nurse them through bad days
til they bring them to the sunshine and light,
which comes always to those who sincerely hope
that their dreams will come true.
